Hello Everyone,
Our Property Redevelopment Project is continuing in Phase 2 - Site Servicing. Our parking lot is now off limits until the end of February as sewage and water lines are installed for our 2 new buildings. (see Picture 1)
Our new primary parking area is on Valleyview Road (the street immediately behind our church). From the picture attached, (see Picture 2), you can see that Valleyview Road can accommodate 10 to 15 cars on each side of the road. We advise you not to park on the abandoned homes' driveways. There is a new walkway (see Picture 3) from Valleyview Road on the west part of our property that goes to the new entrance door at the back of our church building (see Picture 4). Once through this new door, you can walk past our kitchen and into the Fellowship Hall.
If you need to drop off passengers to use our Elevator, please enter through Queenston Street. There is parking in this area of our driveway to accommodate approximately 8 vehicles (see Picture 5). This area should be reserved for those in our congregation that require priority parking. As parking in this area is in close proximity to other cars, please take caution in parking and exiting the church after service. Those that park first are encouraged to stay throughout coffee hour or until other cars have vacated to ease exiting the driveway.
If you feel you need a priority parking space, please click on the Priority Parking link below to enter your name and we will contact you and do our best to accommodate your request.
Our front church doors facing Queenston Street will be unlocked on Sunday mornings. Please feel free to park temporarily on Queenston Street to drop off passengers to enter through our main front doors. The front stairs will be cleared of any snow and ice and our ushers will be there to welcome you. Once your passengers are dropped off, you may proceed to our designated parking area on Valleyview Road via Queenston Street and Eastchester Avenue. There are also parking spaces on our neighbouring streets.
We will have our custodian (Bruce and Keeryn Horton) along with Jerome Kudera outside on parking patrol to help vehicles navigate safely through the next 6 weeks.
Kind Regards,
Jerome
